My streamyx never been like this before.
But this two months, my streamyx "internet" light sometimes goes red light, sometimes disappeared for a few seconds, then it come back again.

It keep disconnecting many times per day, sometimes interrupting when i watch p2p movies and chat with fwens on MSN.

So i filed a complaint to streamyx.

Well they replied me "We detected that you been online more than 1 hours on xxx date year"

I was so furious. My plan is unlimited usage and should be can online nonstop 24 hrs.

I KNOW STREAMYX SUCK but anyone of you having the same problem like me? nod.gif

What should i do? hmm.gif

yes i face the same problem as u too..but my problem usually happened at night time... i cannot online at night time at all..then i made a complaint and they gave me a report no and asked me to wait...!@#$% streamyx is just a nut...paying so much but no quality...

ya streamyx/telecom lousy lah.
imagine i called them to ask for tmpoint location and they need my every details to just verify me, what for? i just need location so i can go there do my puchasing/bill/complaints.

the way they work is funny.

Where u stay?try look for other ISP services that available in your area,do some survey.
If really none,u have to stick back to streamyx and keep bugging them by calling them tongue.gif

I faced that problem before and called them up,so they sent a technician come and make some tit tok at the port there.Then fix ler sweat.gif

try changing your modem. Sometimes the disconnection is due to faulty modem.

sometimes modem after you use 2-3 years has this kind of problem.

why not you ask tmnet why they disconnect you when you used more than 1 hour???

i think there are 2 probable reasons that cause this problem... faulty modem or your phone line is not really good.

just want to let you guys know, my friend who staynearby my house also got this problem. streamyx keep disconnecting many times per day.
so this proven that it's not our device problem. it's TM FAULT.

There is no point to say whose fault here since you are looking for solution to your frequent disconnection.
Why don't you post up your line status (line speed, SNR and attenuation)?

Ts. just like roy918 told you. it is because the SNR margin and Line attenuation is not good i guess..

SNR margin probably you get under 30 and line att you get more than 40. if that happend it must be your cable and when ever your pickup your phone and you will heard "short" sound coming from your line...

call TM100 and complaiin. told them your line got problem and because of it your streamyx keep dc. told them you want your line to become more stable because you playing online game and need stable line..

i have this problem and till now i keep complaining until i got my stable line in my house. i suspect it is because of cable in my place because my house use old cable. my house snr margin 27 and line att is 39 to 45 thats y i keep dc...

btw i use same modem as you. the aztech dsl605ew too... you can check it under modem status.

yup second takanokyohei, u should check ur SNR margin in the modem
but its hard to ask the TM contractor to replace to new one, unless u cut it off
