iPod touch warranty is international, regardless of where you purchased it from, provided it's new and seal(even if it's used unit, as long as the warranty is valid~can check it online~) you can claim it later at any Apple branches.

For me, its a simple answer to your question. Of course, the iTouch mate.

You can play games, musics, and videos on a larger screen resolution. Keep your photos collections and stuff. You wont regret, not even a single cent .

Two words for you to consider: iPod touch... That one will trump the nano left-right-and-center due to its FAR more advanced capabilities, not just WiFi alone...

IMO, the VGA video-cam on the nano is insufficient reason for me to get one... The touch may not have a cam but still, it's a more desirable option for me! smile.gif

If you wanna get an iPod Touch with a capacity of more than 8GB, make sure to get the 3rd gen 32GB for RM1199. They are still selling 2nd gen 16GB, but for RM1099. See the price difference? For an extra RM100 you get TWICE the space, and a better iPod Touch model too.

Obviously everyone here voting for an iPod Touch is an App Lover! While most of the good apps costs money (get your credit card ready), there are just as many free apps that might interest you.

3rd Generation only has 32GB and 64GB.

BTW, it's firmware, not filmware sweat.gif

If it's Firmware 3.1, there is no difference, 3.1 is still 3.1 doh.gif

Jailbreak is the process of 'unlocking' your iPod Touch/iPhone to install unauthorized third-party apps and customise it and so on.. please take note that in case you jailbroke your iPod Touch/iPhone and something goes wrong, Apple will NOT cover the warranty.

i doubt 8gb is enough for anyone that likes to store movies into their portable device. its proly like a budget entry level device for the brand. my advice wud b to aim for the 16 or the 32gb. biggrin.gif

I found this to b pretty troublesome but after I tried the Sony X series that supports the drag and drop feature, the files are not really organised if you just copy and paste into the player, syncing iPod with itunes doesn't really consume a lot of time in comparison to both Zune and Sony.

yeah agree. iTunes is such a great syncing software. it also doubles up as a great multimedia player on your mac/pc. at first i thought ill b missing the drag and drop features that is allowed on other devices, but iTunes keeps everything so organized and neat. biggrin.gif makes life way easier. thumbup.gif
