Hi guys,

just bought a N97 recently, and i'm loving it. but just found out that mine cant write chinese in sms or anywhere in the phone.

so i need to know is any N97 owner out there, can your N97 write chinese??
bcoz mine is under AP, and the writing language option only have French, Spanish n English. so i suspect this is a europe model. what do you guys think?

Juz change your product code to Malaysia one then update it via nokia firmware updater then can write Chinese.

any idea to enable japanese input in my N97??
i am desperately mad with symbian for the limited language input options

Its nothing to do with symbian. If u buy the N97 from the official Nokia outlet in Malaysia, u get the local language which is Malay, Chinese and English. Btw if I am not wrong, Nokia is no longer selling phones in Japan.
