Refer to post step-by-step procedure on setting up BB as modem (both PC and Mac) for tethering at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1318414

Please note that you should check with your telco on condition of tethering as some of them have a limitation of data usage, as for Maxis, there is no limitation for unlimited data package.

are you really sure on that part? There is still an * at the end of the so called unlimited from Maxis. deng!!

* Additional monthly data usages will be charged at RM0.005/kB.
* Prices shown are inclusive of data usages for BlackBerry® services
as well as other internet/WAP services.

Or probably the * is for the 2nd part?? they should put as ** instead.

It surprise me with the table shown, I think there should be double asterisk on unlimited data package (i.e. inclusive internet /wap) as I called Maxis CS last week, they confirmed to me only there will be additional data charge on roaming outside Malaysia. I have checked via *100#, there is no additional charge *touch wood*

If they change the plan and condition within the contractual period, I believe, we, consumers have the right to report to MCMC.

Some tips... for bolt, use the column view, and turn images to low quality (makes no difference on mobile screen). You'll milk a lot of speed from there.
