I don't disagree that a mobile version is a great complement to the forum.

However, at the moment we don't have the resources to implement it. Perhaps in the future.

eh, what mobile devices you guys using that can't browse the forum as it is ah? smile.gif

anyway when on phone, i just load http://forum.lowyat.net and reply as usual.

Added on October 12, 2009, 1:45 amof course if low-fi then would load faster la. one way is to disable loading of images for now.

Added on October 12, 2009, 1:46 amtemporary solution - go BOARD SETTINGS

> Do you wish to view members signatures when reading topics?
> Do you wish to view images in posts, such as smilies and posted images?
> Do you wish to view members avatars when reading topics?

put NO to signature and avatars alone helps a lot.

Hurmmm yerp , not much differ , but dont you found it .... very troublesome when you want to login to LYN , you scroll to righttttttttttttttttt then scorll to downnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn to type your username and password , then after log in , you need to scrooooooooooooooooolllllll to down there to choose the forum you want to enter . Then , after clicked on a topic , you want to read the whole message , you sccccccrooooooooolllll to right to read it , if you are using Lo-Fi version , worst , after finish read the whole topic , theres no TOP button cry.gif Scrooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllll way back up there and choose another page .... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Dont you feel the same way ??

Not to advertise or anything, but on my Nokia I regularly post using Opera Mobile 5 beta - and it works great. I understand from my friend that the iPhone works well too.

Honestly, I'm not sure if spending time on a mobile site is necessary as smartphones are advancing really quickly.

Time can be considered as a resource, depending on the person's view and from what point of view (like in Economics it's not, but indirectly related, CMIIW).
