Wow, great job on the white color layer, but the blue color seems not so even. tongue.gif

no i painted the blue, but i did not like the look of it was too dark so ended up wiping some off and actually liked the look it gave it. Then added some more here and there to make it darker.

Some more painting. Also modified the side window so the entire fan could be seen through the side. I hoping I have enough plexi to cut a new piece, if not back to the hardware store...

what is murderbox

Added on October 25, 2009, 8:20 amOK Final Build Photos. Took over 8 hrs to put this thing back together. Forgot how the door locking mechanism went together, that was most of the time spent. Also had a few glitches with my switches, had all sorts of wires crossed. But this baby is up and running now and now for the photoshoot.......

when I cut the side window out, I actually thought about rounding the corners for a while but personally preferred the sharp edges over rounded.

It is 1/8 inch aluminum, I cut half way through it where the bends needed to be with the dremel using 3 cutt off discs stacked up, and then bent it by hand. Palms where really sore afterwards. I'm sure if you had a vise or strong enough clamp to hold it and then bend it, it would be easier.
