Hi everyone,
I have a used D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N Router for sale, the router is seldom used due to the frequent disconnection of my ADSL modem before. Now I have changed into Belkin modem router so decided to sell this off. The cosmetic condition is very good (99% scratchless) and it works fine. Below are the pictures of the router, sorry if the pics are blur as it is taken using my phone's camera:

What does that mean? The router is not stable? What is your expected price + shipping to KL?

No, not the router is not stable. The problem is on my line and ADSL modem, not this router. smile.gif
Expected price including shipping to KL is RM130.

DLink Wireless N Router (DIR-615) Review
May 1, 2008 by Becky Waring, PC World
Though it has strong features and an attractive price, this entry-level draft-2 802.11n router was rather slow and failed to complete some of our long-distance tests.
At close range, it pumped out only 36 mbps on average, compared with 48 mbps for the competing Belkin N Wireless Router F5D8233-4 v3. And in our long-range tests (about 60 feet, with multiple walls and appliances in between), the D-Link's throughput dropped to just 3 mbps, versus 13 mbps for the Belkin. Even worse, 15 percent of our long-range tests failed completely due to disconnections, whereas the Belkin had no connection failures.

Hi kinwai88,
I think this review is quite biased as it is compared to Belkin Wireless N Router which is priced much higher than this cheap D-Link Wireless N router. There are some positive review about this router out there as it provides a cheap alternative for users to jump into wireless N technology and I don't see any constructive point of posting this negative reviews in my thread other than just jeopardizing. For a cheap wireless N router like this, if you want it, you may take it. If you don't want it and you can afford much higher priced router such as Belkin, then leave it. Thanks.

Becky Waring of PC World also said that:
"The D-Link Wireless N Router DIR-615 is among the least-expensive draft-n routers on the market and has a great feature set."
"the DIR-615's performance may improve with firmware revisions, and the router has a very good feature set drawn from D-Link's higher-end models. You get WPA/WPA2-Enterprise and Radius server security support for corporate use, as well as a laundry list of features such as UPnP, WMM, WPS, DDNS, and DHCP reservation."

and one thing, this review is on May 1st, 2008, don't you think you ought to get a more recent review?

Best regards,
ziafang.
