All you BlackBerry owners firmware OS 4.5 and above are able to download the latest BlackBerry Instant Messenger!!!

btw this is the Official Release and not the leaked version !!!

Since we want to test out the BBM 5.0 Group. I had setup a BBM Group for Lowyat BB User. Open to anyone.


Instruction:
1) Open BBM
2) press BB key
3) scroll to bottom and choose "Scan a Group Barcode"
4) Point yr phone cam to the picture above and snap.
5) Lastly, U should be added to the group.

Let keep the ball rolling.

P/S: As some of you might not be able to add via the barcode, just PM either jamezco, mikelanding or yongkailoon with your PIN and you'll be invited to the LYN BB Group.

Yeah man .... super awesome !!! the leaked version was so bad ... it crashed on my twice ... then after that stable d ... xD

me and my colleague are testing the group chat now ... fun ....

Btw, anyone know how to use 'scan barcode' , i try to scan japanese QR barcode, please share.

Wow... Good share... I didn't know can ignore users also... Nice... Hehehe bar code scanning really useless IMO coz you can always send your PIN via sms and your friends can add them easily.

You guys should test the barcode by adding Kevin, owner of crackberry.com. He's doing a stress test now and has put up his barcode online. It is so cool to be able to add Kevin by using the barcode on the monitor.

You can put the barcode up online, website or even print it out and people can scan without the PIN.

Maybe a "Chat Here" page where everyone can go there and chat when they feel like it ... cause members cant leave the General discussion chat room ...

lankutu ... no diffrence if we make a 2nd chat room ... I've tried it with Mike already just now ..

So far there are 8 of us in the chat and its taking quite a beating ... BB tends to lagg after a while ... I think its due to the continuous sync-ing of information cause everyone is chatting ... this will cause the batt life to drain even faster also ...

but all in all ... ITS FUN ! biggrin.gif

I just joined the group, only back from work and check LYN forum.

Talking about scan QR barcode for BB messenger, i believe BB also can scan QR code for others such as promotion/sales, i have few QR codes from Japan few years back, tried to scan few of them last night, can't retrieve information, anyone app software which can scan QR code?
