Still,if theres only one pair of RCA out,it's possible to split it into two pairs and hook it up into 2/3 electronic crossover so that we have more output for two pairs of components/mid and a sub right?

Conroe: yes... depending on how much input the e-xover needs... you might need only 1 pair RCA from the HU...

Bingo!I saw a 2/3/4 electronic crossover which needs 2 pair of RCA and some has switch where it can accept 1 pair or 2 pairs.
Basically,if the player comes with 1 pair of RCA out,we can split it with normal 1 to 2 rca converter right?any drop in sound quality or so?

Nope, it won't. But is good to make own RCA. Cheaper and better as long as you get the right cables. Farnell or RS Malaysia is the place for this.

Got drop. If you have to, then go DIY some decent cables from Pasar Road. To avoid quality drop, use good quality pure silver RCA. Then again, its cheaper to throw in an Audio Control.

i think what zenn is saying is... sound quality drop mostly depends on the e-xover you use... and about the cables... minimal lost whereas the xover used is more likely to affect the SQ...

and not all pure silver RCA are good RCA...

yes there will be a drop in sound quality, thats why we recommend electronic crossovers instead of 1-2 rca splitters. and we dont recommend cheap electronic crossovers, they will induce noise as well.

Well, if you don't have a good HU/transport, give you a world class processor also pointless. Too many processed signal is not good to get a good sound reproduction.

^Agree with you.... If this is the case, I will choose amps that accepts high inputs like JL Audio. It will save you some money and potential noise problem when using Hi to Low. But I'm pretty sure got other amps in the market that accept this. Just that I prefer JL Audio amp.
