Hello all sifus,

I'm wondering to switch my ivalue 100 plan to value plus 30/50 after the contract end. One of my friend unable to access the Internet on his iphone using value plus 80. Is it the setting problem? He currently using wifi. I seldom use the Internet and dont call much. Now with the new firmware update we can't manually turn off the EDGE but we can do it if is JB. Need advice

im currently on vacation in thailand and i dont get any carrier receiption. im on the ivalue 1 plan. how do i enable roaming for phone calls?

You can do it from your login account on the maxis website, but the easier way is to just call maxis customer care and have them enable it for you.

hi guys need help...one of my friends phone is locked with passcode and he says that he had forgotten the passcode..he tried a plenty of times with familiar passcode..but wrong. so now the phone in locked form where the emergency page shows up....wat should i do...????im puzzle????

If you oredi have your roaming services activated over on Maxis's side, go to Settings and enable Roaming; just beware of your data services if you didn't disable APN.

apparently according to them, i need to pay a deposit of rm300 to enable international roaming and i should do it before going out of malaysia. bleh, its not worth the trouble... i think i'm just gonna buy a prepaid over here or something, much cheaper too

Yes that's about right; U will need to inform Maxis to enable your roaming status before you actually leave the country. Actually it's really not worth it to roam; very expensive!

About the latest worm outbreak targeting at jailbreak iPhone and iPod Touch.. if I do not have OpenSSH installed, I'm not opened to any of the possibilities, right?

Say what? RM300 to activate international roaming? I don't think that's the case unless Maxis has changed their rule. I have always activated international roaming and it has always been free of charge.

guys,will like to ask somethin coz my gf just get her new iphone 3gs. whats the average standby time that you guys have? it seems like the battery will just last for d most..1 and half day..for normal sms and call ( <10sms a day & < 5minute call a day.) . And, how do i prevent the iphone for using internet connection when i playin those apps. Currently she's using DiGi sim onl the phone coz theres no maxis coverage in the house here.

tried everythin in d pinned threaddoesnt work. my gf's iphone battery still drainin out. unplug it on 4am after fully charger,wake up the next morning on 11am and the battery left 96% only. with the usage time of 3minute and stand by time of 7hours+. wonder how those that can have standby time up till 5days.

SSH is an encription connection channel to your iPhone, as I believe your is a JB set.

With this link between your PC and iphone, you could get access to all the files in your iphone, but it would be dangerous if you do not know what you are doing

To connect, turn on WIFI in your iphone, check your ip address for the phone, then use "putty" if you are on M$crosoft, key in that ip address.

ID : root and password : alpine (my is of 2.2, not sure for those upgraded to OS 3.0 > )

Then you would be able to see all your files in iphone, but handle with care !!
