How can i OC intel core2duo E6420?

i am having this proc on my asus p5b-e plus but can only OC it to 2.4GHz by running 1.55V through it. if i try other setting will it fry my proc?

also, the heat from it while running is as high as 59*C

@_@

any help will be appreciated.more info refer my siggy

ya 1.55v to get 2.4ghz for e6420 is too much. My e6550 can go 3.35ghz at stock 1.26v stock 2.33ghz. Can lower cpu voltage n see stability like 1.3v?

MCH GTL Ref : 0.64*VTT
PLL : 1.5(stock)

mesti kau belum main dengan 45nm proc ni.

600fsb guna 1.3v je guna P35 mobo.

Currently my rig is using E6420 paired with 965P-DS3 mobo...
Running on stock speed @ 1.32V..

they say the 1st 400fsb is the hardest.

btw to ts try to play with the multiplier.
