the money value isn't a problem.. it has been control..

ori is high quality while fake is not..
if the price is cheap (not as low as rm10 so wutever lah)..
then it is confirm original... so why not? here we don't have to pay the rent,advertising,hire workers..
it all done by the seller itself..

for the crocs.. me n my frens have bought some of the crocs from the seller here..
and we go to boutique (dun ever said u buy from online or uptown).. just ask them to check..
and.. they said original..!! so for me it doesn't matter if the price is low..
as long as it is confirm original,i'll go for it!

hah! i knew most of these things were fake.. nearly bought some until i went to compare.. u need good attention to detail if u wanna compare the originals and fake..

didnt regret being fussy.. wouldnt pay rm100+ for a fake pair of crocs.. very satisfied that someone brought it up..

lol....now until crocs shoes got ppl copy, when human gonna copy a human brain?

why dont u try a imitation one...and compare with the original...
if let say...it is the same....would u still consider the original or not ??

they expensive coz thier brand and thier RND on the design, shape & materials to use

i believe the cost to make crocs shoes is very low but they need to pay thier workers salary also for the design n manufacturing work

u pay for design, material, and rnd.. u dont wanna pay rm20 for copy-cat stuff.. eat that.. if its too expensive then blame the government for not implementing a minimum wage scheme for the people.... o well.. i blame the government for not educating their own people properly... hence this thinking...

You know, sometimes it's hard to find out whether they are selling real or fake until you pay money and get the product. Even doing all the research also cannot determine whether it's real or fake.

Also, like I said, some people don't care it's real or not. They just want to buy it cheap. This way, they are still supporting those selling fakes and this in turn is generating demand and profit for the fakers. It still is killing crocs' business.

This thread is not about people getting cheated by sellers selling imitation claiming to be genuine. It's about sellers selling imitation and generating demands for it causing crocs' business to go down. If no demands, then will have no sellers. But since we are in Malaysia boleh land, demand for cheap things will never go undemanded. Thus, another way to curb this is to remove the sellers and buyer harder to get fake. At least lowyat forum is doing it's part not to encourage "illegal" businesses.

1 - selling imitation crocs as original is not new in LYN or other forum, at most it is a grade AAA stuff. hard to tell ori or not -- how mod gonna know this? but selling imitation is prohibited right?

2 - selling imitation crocs as original also is SCAM, CON whatever u wanna call it, therefore it is important to know wether the seller sell imitation or not.
seller can claim he sell original, but its a grade AAA, -- example, shop sell original rm 150, pirate sell 50, but the same pirate is selling at rm 100 by seller that claim it is original. scam, con? u tell me.

then i think mod can just ask crocs seller to proof that they sell original, otherwise ban any selling of bulk crocs, claimed to be warehouse clearence or some sort. but of course, nobody cares about anything,
since some people only care when they themself got con, scam. and people only want cheap stuff, pirate or not they dont care, hey.. welcome to malaysia.

then, let it be? let there be 2 seller sell genuine item and the other 20 lurking selling imitation? i think this issue need to be taken seriously, cuz ofcourse, u buy a genuine one from a seller, but what about the others which sell imitation for a genuine price? its certainly a con, scam to me, just like those people who sell nokia phone clone from china and say that its a genuine nokia to trick ppl. so should we let seller that con, scam ppl roam free just because there is a genuine seller? i'd day, make them proof that they sell genuine. thats all. because 1- lowyat rules = no imitation 2 - lowyat rules = no con. but just baning all seller also no good, must make them proof.

i actually saw an ad by CROCS MALAYSIA in The Star few days back warning the public not to fall prey for this "ori/overrun/rejected" pair of crocs. Even the management of crocs are aware of this. i'll try to find the print ad and put it here as a reminder for all.

My advice: if u want to buy a "cheaper" crocs, bring someone who is familiar with original crocs and test it beforehand. If possible, bring another pair of similar design of crocs and compare the style and material side by side. Not all crocs seller here sells the fake stuffs, its just i have no idea how they can bargain crocs shoes at super rock bottom prices. Just take precautions guys, do COD only.

I think the best is for those who want to sell crocs, show proof they are authorized retailers. All other people should be barred from selling crocs altogether if they are not authorized/recognized by Crocs.

And to those who want crocs, go to the shop to buy la...nothing good comes cheap.
