You set it to full screen at your game options, im guessing?

if not check in Options in your game and choose your current screens res.

Oh its common. Its not because of full screen

By default Windows 7 tends to maintain aspect ratio. The game is designed for 4:3 (square screen) and it has no support for 16:9 (wide-screen). If you're using Intel GMA (onboard graphics) . Go to its properties. There'll be a blue colour icon on your taskbar

Go to panel and select 'Do not maintain aspect ratio and select stretch to fit' . Disadvantage is that everything looks wider and fatter

Edit : Your game is in full screen by the way

Grab latest ATI Drivers and install ATI CCC to do it. Its a known issue

Do read here for more details on how -to do it

http://www.driverheaven.net/driverheaven-t...resolution.html

As for some it seems that Windows 7 doesn't support image scaling. Do have a look over at AMD forums

http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm...0&enterthread=y

Its the same effect when you watch a 16:10/16:9 (movies) on your old CRT TV. You see the black borders

It looks like your resolution setting in the game is not set to a side screen configuration. Try around the resolution settings and see.

Yeap, like what Prasys said, all GC drivers have their own configuration on how to treat a lower resolution than the native resolution, to maintain actual resolution, actual ratio or stretcth.

Btw, W3 doesn't support any widescreen resolution

You could also change it to widescreen resolutions using the method included in the link below:

I can run Street Fighter IV in fullscreen, but not by default. You'll need to set in game options. I've once have problems with Virtual PC where fullscreen doesn't really do it's job (you can still see the window's border), but it's fixed in RTM thumbup.gif
