hi, got a webserver running for own private company sites but recently server got out of control every few hours uptime then have to force restart. now it gotten worst .
how can i trace the problem that causing it? apache,mysql,php using directadmin

Check your php and tuning it. My web server problem just like you and my system admin said he tuning php and it's ok now but i don't know what changing he made.

Seriously.. what contents are you serving over poor apache?
That's pretty high load for so many instance of web server.

my suspicion is more to do with some buggy PHP script abusing the system.

You need to tweak and optimize apache and mysql. There is too many apache child process.
