Elder i7 drops a lot. Fuyoh for the price. And price-wise,
i7 920 = i7 860
i7 870 = i7 950
But still tri-channel RAM FTW!

well i guess im sticking to my 920 i7 then...ram overclocker might jump the ship to 860/870 coz of high oc capability but all rounder might still stick at 920..
any stable air 860/870 doing 4.5-4.8ghz??

ya, time to go beyond 4.2ghz with D0... now I getting high temp with high vcore if run 4.2ghz using my wc... sad.gif

i7 is just a super hot processor biggrin.gif Maybe it's a remake of Prescott? I'm getting 69C-70C full load temps even on WC. Vcore is 1.3375V

that normal for overclock core i7 especially since overclock more the 50 percent,what do you expect thing are rated to run at 2.66ghz and we running at 4.2ghz with ht sommore..once you feel the speed you couldnt care less for the temp..
