Hey guys, got a problem with my TB yet again! mad.gif

Ok its like this, last time i could not start my car because the TB was giving problem. My mech recommended me to change the ISC gears first, and see, since its a cheaper option. It worked and was okay for a month or two. Now my problem is, the RPM on idle drops to 200 almost every time! When im idle, when i press the clutch when slowing down, even turning is harder now, when pressing the clutch as it drops to 200 rpm ._.

I have tried tuning the rpm, even up to 1.2k! The very next day, it drops back to 200. Tried tuning 3 times and it drops back to 200 the next day. What could the problem be? My mech said no choice now but to change the TB cry.gif

very weird.... adjusted to 1.2k rpm & it falls back to 200

TB problem?

If im not mistaken thats too check your idle right? I set my idle, on my car off it 2 times to check. Its constant! But the very next day, when i start it in the morning, it goes back down to 200. Thats the thing

Forgot to mention, problem occurs when a/c is on, obviously biggrin.gif

4g15 mmc or svdo??...

got clean ur throttle body??... check ur idle screw nut at the throttle body (for mmc tb) if it opens and close accordingly... check if ur paper gasket (in between tb and intake manifold) is placed properly... if the gasket is wrongly placed of blocking the air bypass valve for idle rpm, u could experience such problem as well....

and yea, its mmc.
My mech did check those when adjusting it. I was asking him what was he doing, he told me something about checking paper la. LOL

unstable rpm when air cond wrong ... for my case is becoz TB is dirty ...
my mech had to take out the whole TB to clean it to rectify the problem ...

I have cleaned the whole TB, changed the gears in it. Going to see my mech this sunday, will ask him to check it again. Very annoying now la, suddenly suddenly can die's when a/c is on, and a/c is on all the time now, as weather super hot! Haha

my car got symptom quite similar to u la..really annoying when queing at toll booth.wonder if its really TB problem.it started right after my battery konged last time and getting worse by day.perhaps it just needed re-tuning?

have you try installing ficd?
many says it solved their idling problem when switching aircond.
never tested it myself but might work for you..

wira fuel injection well know about TB idling problem.go to buy a used at kedai potong also not cheap around rm250-300
new cost abt rm700
but not lasting also,after few years will rosak again
this is the way to modify it and permanently solve the TB when on air-con unstable RPM problem.my fren foreman he do this.pls refer to this FICD modify
