The issue happen when you install XP after install Vista or Windows7 first
System will automatically boot up Windows XP, even after you run Vista, XP or Win7 repair. you won't able to select OS to boot up, cause XP has written over the bootloader. the solution i found was, EasyBCD (freeware) http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 please be sure to have .NET framework 2.0 installed 1st before running EasyBCD, it'll enable you to recover, backup, edit or add boot entries. this is what i done to my bootloader (just for fun, i revert it back to normal later) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « for further details, refer to the documentation http://neosmart.net/wiki/display/EBCD/ This post has been edited by fr0sti3: Aug 20 2009, 01:19 PM |
