QUOTE(m_imrun @ Aug 21 2009, 12:22 AM) Where is your area? I'm in permatang pauh, penang. having the same problem as you did. Almost 2 weeks right now. Cannot connect, if can, on for few minutes. Then, suddenly disconected. I called Celcom Customer Service 3times. The reason they mention is, the 3G line in my area is not stable. They asked me to use line GPRS for a while? WTH, i paid RM98/month to use GPRS internet service??? I have been using Celcom BB for almost a year. This is the first time this problem happens. I'm at Pasir Mas, kelantan. Switching to GPRS, hahaha, it'll be like a snail, literally. |

I'm also on same package as you, but I've been getting GPRS quite frequently. You're consider lucky as it only hit you first time in a year.

I have to admit that Celcom is among one of the best wireless providers in our country. They have overtaken maxis right in term of wireless broadband?

They have overtaken maxis right in term of wireless broadband? in terms of speed, coverage and FUP, celcom exceeds maxis anywhere. having having bigger p0n0s doesn't lead to best service. just like TM's "service at best effort" crap thing. |

QUOTE(n0v4m4r1n3 @ Aug 22 2009, 11:03 PM) speed burst. it's not real usually occurs during dialup days when 6kBps is the usual. suddenly u see at the download manager the speed suddenly drops to 1kBps, 0kBps, then it'll skyrocket to 20kBps, then 10kBps then back to normal 6kBps. |
