Hmm maybe Toyota will put their F1 division on sale? Korean company takeover? Since there's a Korea GP.

If only next year's rules are as radical change as 08-09. We could see lotus building a Brawn dream if they get it right.

Question is, driver talent? hmm.gif

Qadbak may not see the grid yet
QUOTE
Toyota's withdrawal from F1 has the FIA sounding the battle cry as yet again costs have resulted in a big name outfit falling by the wayside. But that's not the only issue for the FIA, who are seeking "urgent clarification" on whether the 13th place belongs to any potential Toyota buyer or if they can give it to Sauber...

LOL at Sir Frank Williams who thought he could get Petronas to sponsor them

QUOTE
"Petronas' partnership with the BMW Sauber F1 Team, which is a progression of its earlier relationship with Sauber, has now come to an end following BMW's decision to exit Formula One at the end of the season.”

The beneficiary of the Petronas sponsorship will most likely to be the newly-launched 1Malaysia F1 team

I think he's the worst driver to have ever drove a Ferrari ever since...... when?

To tell you the truth, the ferrari car is a very hard car to drive this season. How long did it take for Massa and Raikonen to really challenge for podium?
I doubt even Michael could do a miracle getting on podium with that kind of ferrari.

He got trolled. And honestly who's he's shitting? The reason that they COULD have gotten Petronas was hinged upon Air Asia being their sponsor, but they threw it away by refusing to sell the team to Dato Fernandes.

apparently not....if sauber gets in, petronas will continue to sponsor them..

Petronas to stay with Sauber

The Malaysian sponsor Petronas is likely to stay with its long term F1 partner Sauber now that Toyota has withdrawn from Formula One.

With Sauber's plans uncertain following BMW's decision to quit, it had been rumoured that Petronas intended to stay in F1 next year by switching to another team.

Lotus, with Malaysian ownership, was touted as a favourite to receive Petronas, and team boss Tony Fernandes confirmed to the New Straits Times newspaper that an approach was made.

"As it is, it looks like an announcement will be made by Petronas in the coming days once it becomes clearer whether that vacancy left by Toyota becomes Sauber's," said a source.

"If Sauber are back in F1 for sure, and it looks a virtual certainty, then Petronas aren't going anywhere."

Dont think Fairuz should be driver for Lotus... they need to set up the team properly first... my opinion tho... F1 is a whole other level, they should just play it safe...

petronas can learn a lot of automobile technologies from the established sauber team, their partnership with sauber does not lies solely on giving them cash to run the sport. it is something like shell and ferrari.

as for williams, it will probably a fantastic news for them if they can manage to grab hold of petronas sponsorship. however, without the sponsorship now, i dont think they will be in much trouble since they can manage to survive in this sport for so long without spending so much as compared to other teams.

Qadbak might not be the same as the old BMW.Sauber, especially rumours are that McLaren will be buying the manufacturing section of the old BMW
