T-ara was recently put on the chopping block for their disrespectful attitude at while performing at an event. A controversy swirled online and Hyomin decided to clarify once and for all what had really happened that day.

To recap, on October 14th, a netizen on an online community board had written, “Really disappointed in T-ara. They came to perform at a festival in Woori, and all they did was laugh and chat on their own while lip-syncing. Their mouths didn’t match up to the words at all… They really didn’t have any care for the performance.”

The netizen continued, “In the second picture, Jiyeon is staring at the floor and Qri is looking as if she doesn’t care while the MC is talking…”

T-ara’s Jiyeon was criticized earlier during the KBS ‘7080 Concert‘ for similar reasons.

Hyomin took to her Twitter to clarify, “For our ‘Why Are You Like This‘ performance, there are gestures we’ll make where it looks like we’re talking to each other. That is a part of the choreography. For ‘Roly Poly‘, we tried to make the stage look as fun as possible by laughing and playing jokes on each other. It’s a part of the performance. I think those things have caused such a misunderstanding.”

She continued, “ Although we are not perfect when we stand on stage, we are always grateful for the people who come to watch us. We know that we still lack a lot of things, so we promise to work hard. Please don’t misunderstand us.”


Not perfect but is already good enough. If they don't care for the performance they wont even come to perform lul

@b89530: For 'Why Are You Like This' performances, we usually use gestures that make it look like we're talking to each other, that particular part is a part of our choreography.. also for Roly Poly, in order to show as much as possible that we're having a fun time, on stage we usually laugh and play around with each other, it's a type of performance but.. I think there's been a misunderstanding because of these things..

@b89530: We might not be perfect for those who come to see us, but we always perform with a thankful mind. We know that we're still lacking a lot but in the future, we'll show even harder working sides of ourselves. Please don't misunderstand..!!

[NEWS] Ji Changwuk and Cha Seungwon go head to head in T-ara's epic music video

"Warrior Baek Dongsoo" actor Ji changwuk is expected to appear in girl group T-ara's drama format music video.

T-ara's agency said on the 17th, "Cha Seungwon and Ji Changwuk are scheduled to appear in T-ara's blockbuster music video together." Ji Changwuk became a hit after appearing in KBS 1TV's "Smile Again" and SBS "Warrior Baek Dongsoo".

In the music video, Cha Seungwon will appear as a pestering bully that constantly bothers Ji Changwuk, which eventually leads to an intense fight between the two.

The 30-minute music video will be in the form of a drama and directed by the famous music video and CF director Cha Euntaek. T-ara, Ji Changwuk and Cha Seungwon went down to Busan to begin shooting on the 16th and plan to continue shooting for the next six days.

Meanwhile, T-ara will began full scale activities when the album will is released in November. They are also preparing for their second single album in Japan.

i must admit that Hyomin did a good job as a leader..
but she looks kinda tired..
