Decided to have such a thread after seeing so many questions of the following floating in the forum for the past 2 weeks...

"How good is XXX???"
"Can I play games with XXX?"
"How does XXX stack against YYY?"

Basically, this thread is all about contribution from you... Yes, you... I have answered many questions of those nature, and frankly, I am getting tired of answering them again and again.

If you have a laptop, be it old or new, integrated or dedicated, SLI or CrossFire, I hope to gather benchmark data from you guys, and list them down in this thread.

Basically, I need the model name of the laptop, the CPU it uses, amount of RAM, and the GPU used, preferably the type of VRAM as well, driver version, and OS used.

3D Mark 06 Basic Edition will be my main target (since it's free to use). I need the screenshot of the breakdown of the score (SM2.0, SM3.0, CPU and Overall), the resolution used, together with CPU-Z and GPU-Z.

Game benchmarks are welcomed also, please state the graphic detail (the level of detail as defined by the game, such as default Low, default Medium...) and resolution as well... For games without built-in benchmark system, a rough estimation of the FPS would be nice too.

Whatever you guys contribute, I will list them down in the second post

Please post in the following format:
CODE
Laptop Model | CPU model | Amount of RAM | GPU model and VRAM | Driver version | OS name | 3D Mark Resolution
*screenshot of 3D Mark 06, CPU-Z and GPU-Z*

Game name | Graphic Settings | Resolution | Result
*screenshot of game with result*

Please note that I take the policy of "No screenshot, No listing"... It's all about proving how capable your graphic card is.

Hope to hear from you guys... Cheers nod.gif

GPU-Z - TechPowerup

Just download 3dmark06, run it, then run CPU-Z and GPU-Z alongside it.
