Well lots of shops are selling OEM Windows laugh.gif
Anyway, selling the upgrade kit is not such a good idea, well anyone who has a OEM/Full XP/Vista license can use the upgrade disk but everyone knew that you got the upgrade disk for FREE. So you think how much people are willing to pay for it?

I thought TS wants to sell his upgrade kit, not his old OEM Vista license. The upgrade kit is not bound by the previous XP/Vista license as long as they are full/OEM license.

Well your laptop model is not in the list, which means out of luck friend. I can't even find the model at Asus website. If the seller actually said this model is entitled for the free upgrade you are conned. If that seller is official Asus reseller than you can lodge a complaint on him.
You can, however, buy the upgrade version.

The upgrade kit is intended for Windows installation that comes from the OEM (manufacturer), not OEM you buy directly from the shelf.

Technically the upgrade disk will work in other computer, but of course it is considered illegal. And I've said that everybody knows that the upgrade kit is free, so why would they pay for something free? If want the OS free and illegal way, we have a good supplier called INTERNET. oops.gif
And if my didn't make myself clear enough, I DO NOT encourage people selling the free upgrade kit. I simply point out a fact that the upgrade disk will work on other computer. icon_rolleyes.gif

This idea is like: I bought a Computer A with Vista pre-installed, I get the free upgrade kit and upgrade it to Win7; later I sell the Computer A, but before selling that I revert it back to Vista; after that I purchase Computer B with Vista pre-installed too and I use the upgrade kit to upgrade it to Win7. Any wrong with that? hmm.gif

By the way, can I dual boot with Vista and 7 if using the upgrade kit? hmm.gif
