Erm.... isn't that Pla Lat?

One real malay food I like is tempe goreng, nais! thumbup.gif

I also like N.Sembilan food, but I know of only one place that sells it, but damn expensive (in Amcorp Mall PJ).

mamak stall got big tv screen, air mist around, lots of variety. malay stall got small tv, less variety.

last time i got back from work at 4am, they only mop the floor.. anything u want to eat all also available..
4 am also still got many ppl lepak.. how to clean? laugh.gif

mamak not mcd, mcd got specified hours for daily full cleaning..(means they clean like new)
floor and toilet 1 to 3 am..
drivethru, ribena, milo containers 2 to 3 am..
fries and kitchen area also got specified time..

also these cleaning task is handle by shift.. so, anybody on that shift wont do other jobs like serving or prepare food..

some malay stall don't even respect their customer... sometime they look cock at u if u complain their food or service...

Malay stalls sometimes are expensive. They tend to overcharge for certain foods especially when buying mixed rice.

Mamak stalls at least give consistent pricing.

Other than that, the service experience as told by other forummers are true. Only a few stalls that i went have good service, others mostly

are not interested in serving people well.

Quality, customer service also play a part. However this does not mean Malay stalls are bad coz many still enjoy the foods. The multiracial crowd during Pasar Ramadan is a testimony to this. Also we should not forget that Mamaks are mostly targeted during supper time. Dinner and lunch the Chinese are most likely to eat at Chinese stalls.

the big stall such as pelita or darul ehsan will clean from back to front.... i used to see this bcoz i lepak kedai mamak until 7am... got nothing to do but lepaking and finishing my moneh then....

same lah... mamak stall aslo when the ware... ware....(they counting in their language) also tend to overcharge....
do not believe...??? ask them to recalculate..... sure u hear different answer.....
