i feel that inc could have win champion if they didt underestimate starboba ( i could be wrong)

but judging from all the games StarsBoba use almost the same tactic heroes again and again

ie keep spam and pushing lane while having decent ultimate to fight in war..

but then again i wasnt there so i wont know for sure what really happened

2. You are carrying the nation’s name.
This applies to all aspects of your participation in the main tournament. For example, MCC from New Zealand got thrashed by Ct’ROA at ACG2007, allowing 4 heroes of Cybertime to score a “BEYOND GODLIKE” kill while the last 1 got his “WICKED SICK” ended 2 mins before the match over. Although New Zealand got their revenge at ACG2008 by beating Kingsurf at the semifinals but the memory and pain of the NZ Dota Scene has endured since that embarrassing match. We do not want our representative to create such painful memories for us, do we?

3. You want to be in Singapore at July 3-5.
This is quite straightforward. Your team should have the logistics ready by the time you step into the qualifiers. Has your passport been made up? Have you taken leave from your parents/school / work in preparation for this event? To answer “no” to any one of those basic question posed above speaks a lot of your commitment to this whole thing and your chances of actually qualifying.

4. You are facing the best.
Do note that you are not joining some Local CC tournament where most of them are just there to play for fun. Every team (and I mean EVERY) you meet at the ACG Finals are the champions of their respective nations. They look like champions, act like champions and play like champions. The competitive atmosphere there is so intense that a person with less fight in him will have a hard time adjusting to the intense pressure by their mere presence. And yet, you are supposed to be there to “BEAT THEM ALL”, “GRAB THE ASIAN CHAMPION” and tell everyone “IT IS MALAYSIA’S for 2009!” China has done those 2 years in a row. Are you ready mentally, tactically and skillwise to grab it this year?

5. You do not give up. You innovate and simply play till the end.
WN-SK won the right to represent Malaysia in ACG2006 coming back from losing 4 raxes in a Dota match 3 years ago facing a seemingly unstoppable Bone Fletcher (it is virtually unheard off for any team to do that in the highest level in that particular map version).

Cybertime 1 (ROA) the undisputed Malaysian champion of the first half of 2007 never won a single training match with XCN in their 10++ training games online yet still went there and upheld the nation’s pride by reaching the finals in spectacular fashion. They managed to overcome the best “Sven Chen” combination in Dota history executed to perfection by the legendary Team Flow of Philippines that that took down XCN in the quarterfinals with an equally impressive “Roaming Qop Sandking Veno” strat that left Xcn’Lakuci who was sitting beside me at that time of the semifinals astonished (for those who do not know the significance of this, Qop was used as a carry farm hero till that point of time, Doldoi was the first Qop to play it that way competitively as far as memories goes).

Kingsurf never beaten Impreza in 4 meetings in the then new 6.52e map and is heading down the same road at the quarterfinals match at ACG2008. An innovative solo mid Omni strat by Ks seems to have failed to prevent Truenetpro’s Luna acquiring Manta, Butterfly, BKB and Satanic, totally negating Ks’ early game gains. However, in yet another backdoor attempt by Luna, Impreza somehow manages to stopped Xiaoma’s Tidehunter from Tping to save his base (which was in normal circumstance, a brilliant strategy to catch your opponent by surprise). The other Ks members who were planning to do the same stopped their town portalling attempts and Xiaoma casted his ultimate on the rushing in heroes of Impreza. Ks managed to clear all 4 rushing heroes and proceed to kill off the defending Luna who somehow decided to defend rather than go straight for Ks’ throne which would have ended the game. The tide of the game change, and Ks was on course to the semi finals after that battle with Yamateh’s POTM ending the game with a “BEYOND GODLIKE” kill.

To win ACG this year, our representative need to evoke no less miracles that what was stated above. Has your team the ability and the mental will to reproduce many of those performance mentioned?

sharky is new for this team and new for this big tournament, somemore the team is starboba,u try to play ?
u wont nervous ?
u dont only complain,we get 1st runner up is very good already, become a malaysian,u should proud for this not complain the player or playing style.
*

Sharky I know you might be reading this as well as the rest of the INC xLo team.

All this comments by people take it as a constructive criticism.

At the end of the day you guys have proven yourself.

Sharky only recently join this team with only probably less than 5 competitions.
Which AWCG was his first internation competition.

He has done well considering the circumstances. therefore continue to work hard and prove the critics wrong in all future competitions.

At high level competition experience counts. StarBoba had the experience advantage therefore its not as easy to hit them as some people might think. Experience players would know how to counter predict attacks and know how to avoid them.

ask any players they would say the same.

Be proud and be happy that you all did well.

If anyone thinks otherwise that person should put his word and criticism to the test by doing better if that person thinks he or she can do better than what you all did and achieve.

Peace and may this be a milestone for all gamers in malaysia to push and achieve excellence in Gaming to show that Malaysian gamers are of international level and are the respected for both ability as well as talent.

Cheers

well yea great job overall but i honestly thought that they could have taken down everyone in ACG as they have proved themselves to win

6 games in total against Cybertime , KS and Mineski in the qualifier

and mind you these 3 teams they beat are as good as any top ACG teams...

as most other teams at most had to win 1 or 2 hard games to qualify theri qualifiers. =)

anyway congratulations try again next year

Deejaysharky did really well imho throughout the entire acg tournament and his record since he joined inc.xlo has been impressive.

Cut him some slack, why pin point his kunkka?

It is clear for all to see that he is no one hit wonder.
He is filling in for dabeliuteef which is already a huge role for his shoulders.
He won @ the mines on his first outing, and won the msia qualifiers and came in 1st runner up at the acg.

Not many ppl can do that and how many has archived what he did in a short period of time?

dejaysharky good player but i dont think he can fill in the gap left by dabeliutef, its juz mski have some team member left. and ks with 2 of their player came back recently to play competitively as ks member. But i still think cybertime should be strong team in future with their personal skill n experience in their team. Its just matter of time. So i dont think so u guys need to be so harsh on some KK on final even i dont know what he did..overall its cool to get number 2 but hope should be better next year
