Hi guys,

I am new in perl and try to set up my local pc as a development machine.
I install activeperl 5.0 and then mysql 5.0

I google and found out that i need to install DBD-mysql package to enable me to connect to MYSQL database

I try using all the method such as running cmd

ppm install DBD::mysql
ppm install DBD-mysql

Error i get is cannot find such packages, and from the ppm interface i get error 500, cannot connect to winnipeg...

i even try manually run it

perl makefile.pl

the error i get is cannot find mysql_config.pl

so how do i get this mysql_config??
can i manually create this file?

Anyone have the sample of this file?

Please help...
