it works on 3.1.2.
bare in mind, it is a experimental. it maybe work for you, but not somebody else. at least, it works for me. another method is, disable several daemon which lead to free some memory. This post has been edited by saksoba: Oct 20 2009, 03:42 PM |

How do I solve this problem? Is it something to do with my screen protector? I'm using a Singtel 3G set.

I thought it was my iphone problem until I read this thread.
I usually try with different finger when this occurs. Btw, mine is Singtel 3G Set, non-JB. |

The problem is I can only slide around twice before the ringing ends, happens to me pretty often at least once a day. |

Hi guys,
Hope you guys don't mind i join the discussion. I think it is a common problem. It happened at times on my 3G and now also on my 3GS. Actually there is another issue that i'm facing. Sorry for being off topic.. Anyone facing random "No Service" on your iphone? I had to restart my phone to get connection again. Btw, i'm using maxis and the area has had full-bar coverage all the while... Anyone? |

just do force restart by holding both the on/off key and the menu button (kinda the only 2 keys for you to press on an iPhone) for around 10 seconds. the phone shud restart and show the apple logo if im not mistaken.

What's your phone's firmware version?
I think your problem is quite common for those running on ver 3.1. |

Just for Sharing
Unable to slide to answer call : happen 2 times in 3 months, only after 4 to 5 slides then success. No service : happen once when incoming call when using fringe, until shutdown, remove and insert SIM card back to cure. 3GS 16GB OS3.0 JB |

I was having this problem yesterday on my JB phone. The whole screen is not responding at all. So I decided to un-JB my phone and upgrade to the new Firmware. Touch wood, it's working fine now.
