Dell in Taiwan made the same mistaken, WS LCD: 19"=RM55+, 20"=RM111

I am currently at Taiwan and here is what I heard from my friend.

Dell in Taiwan made a big mistaken by putting the wrong online rebate tag on their LCD products.

For a 19" WS LCD which cost NT7500 (RM833+), after NT7000 online rebate become NT500 (RM55+)
For a 19" WS LCD which cost NT7999 (RM888+), after NT7000 online rebate become NT999 (RM111+)

Many people had ordered by using credit card and 1 of my friend's lab-mate ordered 20 units.

差很大，仔細看價格定價7999 下面的網站優惠卻是折價7000元，結帳只要999元；另外一款小一點的螢幕更超過，7500同樣折價7000元」，500元買全新的液晶螢幕；網站上不管大筆電、小電腦，通通都像這樣少7000元，網友「呷好逗相報」，有人集資百台，還有人要刷卡一次下訂1千台。

從晚間接近11點，網友報馬仔，到隔天6點40分，就算上班時間還沒到，DELL趕快更正錯誤，訂單還是爆了。戴爾電腦王經理：「那的確是價格標示錯誤，如果造成任何客戶的不便，我們是深感抱歉，我們會盡快了解後面的原因是怎樣？那我們也會事後跟這些客戶，主動跟他們聯繫，來妥善處理這件問題。」

出貨認賠保住商譽？還是怎麼補救？DELL很頭大，不過其實仔細看，網站上DELL早就設下金鐘罩，購物網站的下頭加註了「會盡力找出圖案和排版的錯誤，不可避免的錯誤，不負任何責任」，和消費者的諜對諜，怎麼收場？國際電腦大廠恐怕得費思量。

Taiwan very efficient only this 1~ their news and newspaper very efficiency and what kind of news also can reported out 1....

Yeah, but i think they would not. There is a clause there in the bottom of all Dell sites.

MISTAKES: While all efforts are made to check pricing and other errors, inadvertent errors do occur from time to time and Dell reserves the right to decline orders arising from such errors.

If you wanna appear in paper the next day without paying a single buck, thats the way to go.

Even in the US, when they made mistake, yeah, they will try their best to honor these sales because its a contract. However, time has proven that even though many will eventually get their shipment, a big chunk of them will simply wont receive anything and had their credit card debited.
