I am currently at Taiwan and here is what I heard from my friend.
Dell in Taiwan made a big mistaken by putting the wrong online rebate tag on their LCD products. For a 19" WS LCD which cost NT7500 (RM833+), after NT7000 online rebate become NT500 (RM55+) For a 19" WS LCD which cost NT7999 (RM888+), after NT7000 online rebate become NT999 (RM111+) Many people had ordered by using credit card and 1 of my friend's lab-mate ordered 20 units. Yeah, but i think they would not. There is a clause there in the bottom of all Dell sites.

If you wanna appear in paper the next day without paying a single buck, thats the way to go.
Even in the US, when they made mistake, yeah, they will try their best to honor these sales because its a contract. However, time has proven that even though many will eventually get their shipment, a big chunk of them will simply wont receive anything and had their credit card debited. |
