celcom is just straight forward.

not sure why some of the maxis have different configuration like the below

AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”maxisbb”

or

AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”unet”

Because maxis love to enforce different thing for different client.
a bit troublesome .. .~

If using maxisbroadband SIM card have to use this one.

AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”maxisbb”

If using Maxis 3G simcard from postpaid.
use this.

QUOTE(half_lif3 @ Jun 24 2009, 04:59 PM)
AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”unet”

if using Maxis prepaid SIMCard :

QUOTE(half_lif3 @ Jun 24 2009, 04:59 PM)
AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”net”

then there also 2G mode.. which also a bit different.

Ubuntu also same lah..
if using maxis broadband... have to tweak a bit. (need to change the APN) as describe here.
