I think he was just gonna play it a bit slow pace to affect LU's rhythm of wanting to end the points fast... now in the 2nd set, can tell that LU is tired a little, so now Roger is playing it fast...

and now 'great' doh.gif - starsports is back to the sania mirza's game whistling.gif

good solid opening match from roger..hitting shots around the net post was amazing..let's hope he'll be able to keep it up for the remaining matches..GO ROGER!!!

Yea..Blake's first round lost was quite surprising as he finished runner up at last week Queen's..quite disappointing for him..

Yeah, i love the shot around the net.. Haha. The commentators called it a legal cheating.. Its just cool.

I agree that Blake losing is quite disappointing, i think he sure feels the same.. after playing quite well to reach the final of Queens, then lost in first round? God. And this is the time that attacking players like him should perform well.

Sharapova struggled through her first match again..

Dang... Blake out before we knew it.
Dissapointing results for him.

Yen did give Fed quite a bit of a match in the first set though.

Soderling is playing now, rather solidly. But quite abit of unforced errors.

Getting more and more irritated with Andy Murray, so big mouth like he is definitely going to win this Wimbledon. How I wish now that he is blasted out by Robert Kendrick tonight!

As confident as Roger Federer is, he is never going to say that he will win this and that.

to answer your question...

Andy Murray tells Roger Federer "I'll beat you in the final"

QUOTE
Andy Murray is gunning for just one man in next week's Wimbledon final - world No.2 Roger Federer.

The British No.1 begins his bid for the title against American Robert Kendrick on Centre Court today. The Swiss ace can set a new record of 15 Grand Slam crowns by claiming his sixth Wimbledon title on July 5.

But Murray, 22, who is seeded to meet Federer in the final, said his perfect SW19 scenario is gaining revenge for his defeat in the US Open final last September.

"If I could pick right now and I was for sure going to win it,I would chose beating Federer in the final," he said. The Scot also believes the crowd will lift him.

He added: "This year the support is going to be even better because I believe I can win Wimbledon and I think maybe a lot of other people believe I can."
