And so it seems he can't handle the pressure too well.
I know people in his country are saying, why the likes of his other fellow Britain compatriots like Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button could win the F1 WDC back to back while Murray is fighting for his life only in a quarter final/semi-final in a grandslam.

It's probably going to be all or nothing in the ATP final amongst the top 8.
Can't wait for it.

there are many players that have a winning record against federer

Active Players:
Gilles Simon (Perfect 2-0 record)
Dominik Hbarty (Seldom play each other)

Retired Players:
Gustavo Kuerten (2-1)
Pat Rafter

Very little active players..But I think there's more for retired players

Is Henin gonna make the return? She had make a statement that Brisbane will be her destination for her comeback.

Added on October 22, 2009, 4:41 amWozniacki is now under probation of suspected bribe?

She retired not because of her injury but because she thinks Anne Kremer have more advantage..

“I could possibly have finished the match, but felt there was no way I could get ready for the second round on Thursday, so I chose the sporting way and let her go through. She’s also [playing] at home,” Wozniacki told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.

Maybe there is money involved??? However, i still drool for her beauty. hehehe

Hope Henin really comes back soon.
Her backhand is just..... drool.gif

Fed can't beat it.
Stan can't beat it.
Gasquet can't beat it.

It is THAT good.

So if it were to say if the women has even something better than the mens, this is it.

Anyways, as for Wozniacki.... I won't be surprised if there is money involved. After all, she is still young.... and when money come flashing infront of your eyes, you get itchy.

Soderling withdraws; Baghdatis into Stockholm final

STOCKHOLM (AP)—Top-seeded Robin Soderling withdrew from the Stockholm Open semifinals Saturday because of an elbow injury, allowing Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus to advance to the final where he will play Olivier Rochus.

Rochus outlasted Tomaz Bellucci of Brazil 7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-3 to reach Sunday's final at Royal Tennis Hall.

Soderling has been bothered by a sore right elbow since July, when he withdrew from the quarterfinals in Washington.

The 10th-ranked Swede, a surprising finalist in the French Open this year, was the only seeded player left in the tournament.

WTA Championships will begin next week.

Apparently, Eurosport will show the tournament. Just check out the TV schedule in the 1st post of this thread.

Lolz. Jelena Jankovic qualified for the tournament? My feelings tell me that she will probably get thrashed in the tournament. The women's tour is really crappy these days anyway.

Actually Federer has positive head-to-head record against Nalbandian. Its 10-8. tongue.gif tongue.gif

Can't wait for Federer to be back. He will next play in his home tournament, Basel Indoor.

Lolz. You mean Caroline Wozniacki? I think she's in abit of slump after her high in US Open. But she will be fine.. Not close to becoming the next Ana Ivanovic yet. Haha.

I was watching Federer playing doubles yesterday.
Seriously.... he doesn't seem to look like the usual Federer.

Tell me when was the last time you saw Federer shadowing a 2-handed backhand and also attempting to do one? laugh.gif
He looks pretty nervous, doesn't have that "godlike" aura he has shown quite often when playing singles.
Also he nearly got shot in the nuts as well, just a couple inches away.

He may be the best singles tennis player on the planet today and one of the best there ever was, but in doubles? He looks like an amateur, even if he's an olympic gold medalist.

No flaming, just saying. smile.gif

Well for one I think he's not too serious in the match too.
Just joking around and doing none of his jaw-dropping winners.

I guess its one way to get back into rhytm before the big one in London.

I was watching Murray vs Verdasco yesterday in the Valencia Open.
Great match it was.

Verdasco was absolutely dominating in the first 6 games.
His inside-out forehand is freaking scary. But then after that, he just started to make errors, then more errors, and finally Murray just won.

2nd set I thought it would be game over for Verdasco, but he fought back really well. Showing the exact same form he had early in the first set, beat Murray 6-2.

Murray was doing his usual "brain f*ck" attitude on the court again. You know after all these years, I feel that he's faking it. Trying to act in pain, walking away in disgust, this and that.... really, it doesn't look nice. Mental games it may be though.

Verdasco just fallen off in the third set.

So this was the case of the better man did not win again. No idea why Verdasco had to be so greedy and aiming for the lines all the time, and trying to do Sampras/Rafter style volleys. Sad to see him lose as he could have easily won the match actually.
