any product website refer? can play blu-ray folder(BDMV) or not?and how about subtitles support?

here is the product wedsite, but only chinese version
can't play blu-ray folder,but H.264.TS & MKV can
Subtitle support: SUB (MicroDVD format), SRT (SubRIP format), SMI (SAMI format)

hdmi can support video and audio, they are combined together, but 5.1 track should use the Fiber or Coaxial

can you show a photo that playing mkv with chinese subtitles,I need to know the subtitles display level... WD TV is too high for me...

Not same, that is 1st batch of HD star, now HD star ameliorate to new one already.
that batch ONLY support 720p out put not 1080p.
not support mkv, H264, ts, tp .... those HD format file
maybe they can't sold out. better don't buy that batch.
some more ask them question never reply.

Why do you need Coaxial or Optical to get 5.1 when HDMI is suppose to be superior over the tow options? Are you saying that HDMI can only carry stereo sound (2 channel)?

yes if u play those HD movie like H.264
need use optical 5.1 or coaxial for dts sound.
