me n my housemates' speculation is that he was trying to avoid the taxi which suddenly stop at that location (maybe to pick someone), and then it hit the rear right part of the taxi, causing the taxi to crash to the pillar, while the bus, in a state of losing control, smash into the "roof"..

bus also can go out of control because of hitting a taxi?? the driver is a bit skilless.

latest info according to a person on the bus...

the bus lost control as the bus' brake failed after the corner, so to stop the bus, the driver tried to go up the pavement. but it hit a moving taxi while turning onto the pavement. then the bus crashed. while the taxi was hit at the rear left, it lost control and the left side of the taxi hit the pillar. a lady inside the taxi was injured slightly...
