Gonna have to revert back to V1.06 then. I was surprised when I saw that both the 1.06 and 1.07 updates were dated on the same day.

Yeah you'll have to update both the mouse and the charging dock, which is quite a hassle.

razer purposely offered both, so users can have the choice cos they sure know about the issues already tongue.gif

Downloading V1.06 now. They could have mentioned that V1.07 would dampen minor movements. How was I supposed to know that that is the effect of the "Dynamic DPI Scaling" written in the release log.

With V1.07, if I move the mouse very slowly, it doesn't register any movements at all. Great.

i'm going to replace my krait since my krait start showing problems..

i really likes deathadder design, blue led will match my lycosa. laugh.gif
lanchesis blue light also in my wish list.

lanchesis price is higher than deathadder but what from i read, some people said deathadder perform better than lanchesis. hmm.gif

can i get some suggestion here?

you play fps games? and are you right handed? if you right-handed, deathadder should be very good..

if you left-handed go for lachesis, its ambidextrous and awesome

depends on what surface and grip u using,if you are right handed both perform well..note that if you use krait,i wonder why you have not insert copperhead into the wishlist(although it's a prob mouse)
Copperhead and lachesis i hear many issue it's facing cuz of its high sensor or dpi(2000,4000?)so better go for good mousepad like destructor or exactmat..havent get review from users though(except everdying haha)

What are you talking about, mate?
The Copperhead and Lachesis were not problematic mice. I've used them both as my main mouse (Copperhead for about 2 years, Lachesis 1 year plus), and I would recommend either one of them to everyone.

Only the Lachesis has a slight problem with soft mats (easily fixed with some settings tweak). The Copperhead on the other hand had no such problems. I've used it on the Mantis, Everglide Titan, SS qck, Goliathus Control Ed, eXactmat and Destructor. Both mice worked best with the Destructor, but I think that's more of a compliment towards the Destructor, rather than being a "problem" with either mice.

The Copperhead works just fine on any surface actually. Except probably overly shiny surfaces.

The Lachesis is nowhere near as surface sensitive as the Mamba. I doesn't work very well on a Goliathus Control Ed, that's a given, but I know for sure that it works on a Mantis mat, which is essentially the same mat as the Goliathus Speed Ed.

So as long as you're not using a super rough soft pad (i.e Goliathus Control Ed), the Lachesis will serve you well. And believe me on this - it's a superb mouse.

very hard to say maybe you are a low sensitivity user?so mamba reli a big big leap from the step
*

Yeah, u got a point there. I think i should open up my options even more; should do some more research b4 i do any purchase. But I believe that most gaming mouse allows u to adjust the sensitivity right?

::edit::

Did the configurator quiz and the recommendations are:

1. mamba

2. lachesis

3. deathadder

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

lets see what happens if I answer it differently

I redo the quiz and all the answers are the same, only diff is the which 1 would be my 1st choice.

Not really. At least with relatively high DPI settings (2000dpi and up), the cursor jumps a few pixels when I click. And I can't move the mouse slowly and get a smooth response, it always registers jerky movements.

It would work better on a Golliathus Speed Ed. Or perhaps the new Sphex (wait for Everdying's review to confirm).

here's how whetther to test your mouse maybe rejected anot
try your mouse to draw a straight line(my DA did it easily)
try clicking your mouse in the paint, see whether it is accurate anot(accurate means the dot does not move somewhere

i wont do mamba on sphex la...cos if i stick it on a table its going to be like the exactmat since the surface is similar....and everyone probably knows by now mamba works fine on exactmat.
once i manage to get the damn box open...i'll try the mamba on goliathus and see if all those ppl complaining are just unlucky or not...
