My new Fiat Bravo GT came with Continental CSC3, size 225/40/R18.

Bloody hell they're really noisy.
Anyone here tested CSC3s and their alternatives - Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric/Pirelli P Zero Rosso/Michelin PP2? Care to comment? Especially on the tyre roar.

Thanks.

Feedback from some forummers that F1 Assy is the best choice as it is still reasonably priced...
its noise and grip level also at satisfaction level... smile.gif

Thanks mate. Yeah I've been getting really good feedback regarding the F1 Asymmetric. I'll probably use the original CSC3s for a few months or so, then think about replacing them as I've just lowered the pressure down to 32psi for all 4 tyres, and the noise is slightly more tolerable now.

what is your size??? as bro CheeAnn said... u never get wrong with the over priced Michelin PP2...
it is quiet... but if you can bear a bit of noise... try Hankook V12... it comes witha lil comfort also...

After done with some reading on the interwebs and feedback here, i have decided and bought myself a set of Michelin PP2. Previously i was on OEM tyres which is the Goodyear NCT5 and finally rest at peace clocking 67000km with less 10% thread.

er.. not like that la... if you drive like normal then 40k ~50k... if you drive aggressively about 30k la...
but NCT5 u dare to use until left only 10%... i throw it away when 40% or more left...
u get better confidence in wet and also better handling... traction much more better than NCT5...
but in return of safety it will burn ur wallet a bit more... what size have u changed to and how much???

Anyone use Nexen tire (korean) before?? Highly recommended by a tire shop in SS3..195/55/R15 cost RM175, same as Falken..
The thread look very sporty, V shape all the way..
still dunno how to choose...my NCT5, 2 times raining also ABS...and kena hit too...just 60km/hr
*
SK-C I brought over ur post in Tire Price thread...
going to Nexen, i recommend u to try Hankook V12 evo which is similar price range with Nexen...
NCT5 useless tire... i throw mine away when it left more than 40% of thread... read thru some old post here...
i have some review about it... smile.gif cheers...

according to experts the higher Pressure the less roll resistance will be... so u will get better FC... smile.gif
got get good performance u must have the right pressure not too hard or soft...
under inflated tire ur tire outer parts will wear off faster while over inflated tire ur tire will loss comfort...

I'm using LS2000 Hybrid II on my Airtrek Turbo, very nice so far. Good balance between performance and comfort, very quiet and good ride with low noise.

It's one step below the UHP range so you can't really compare with 2 and 3.

If you want UHP I suggest you look at Falken FK452 as well, I wanted to get those but they don't manufacture the size I need (215/55/R17).

haha, cools powerful SUV u have there.

Thanks for sharing, bro smile.gif

Mind to share with me how much u pay for the LS2000 with the size 215/55/17 ?

I was quoted RM503/= for both the LS2000 and Revspec RS-02
