hei guys ati 4730 hit our shores already, slower then 4770 while retaining 128bit ddr5 for rm350. lol (saw in onsale at pcdepot.com.my)

Slower is ok but it also consume lots of power campare to even 4850. Thats ridiculous. No point buying crippled 4870.

ATI reference cards are loud and noisy one of the reason why i buy nvidia instead of ATI after the 9800PRO days where ATI performance was superior to Nvidia and not to mention poor power management on ATI side compared to Nvidia cards

can hear the sound only but no displays means u dont have the codec to play it. go download GOM player and see whether it will be ok or not. this player can support .mkv (HD a.k.a blu-ray movie)

not no display at all, just that it cannot play smoothly,
it's like u are watching a slide show,
rite now im using vlc and media player classic,
both cannot play the 1080p movie smoothly,
but media player classic a bit better than vlc,
but however i will try to download the GOM player..
