Almost all your bands are signed to a mainstream label.

Anyway, I want you guys to support this band since they are from the Philippines (our region!), MOSCOW OLYMPICS. Their debut album got a bit of acclaim in music blogs and I can safely say they're the best shoegaze band of this millennium.

Japandroids is kinda boring to me. If you like noise pop, try No Age and Japanther.
*

I didn't like No Age tongue.gif

I've not listen to Japanther though. Why do they sound so similar to Japandroids(band name-wise)?

Another 2 bands for indie music lovers, Cymbals Eat Guitars and Wavves.

I don't think Phoenix sound similar to either Arctic Monkeys or the Kooks but their latest album is awesome though. Definitely worth a listen or two, IMO.

strikes the same chord to me. there isnt really any band that's similar to arctic monkeys unless ur listening to last of the shadow puppets. even other brit bands like hard fi or pigeon detectives or even art brut have strikingly original identities

like it or not, indie music is getting more and more "electronica", with the use of synths and effects becoming increasingly popular.
