Great place to get indie music
There's this Rock Corner outlet in Bangsar Village which sells a lot of indie albums. I think the owner of that place frequents pitchfork.com often since most of the latest albums sold there are favourited by the website. If you're a big fan of not well known bands, this is the perfect place.

Since my topic is getting more and more off topic, why not I turn this topic into an indie music discussion topic?

Not just the Bangsar Village one.

As much as they have a big collection, I can't see myself paying RM60 per album when those rubbish ones cost RM30 dry.gif

If anyone wants to do a bulk import of hard to find albums, count me in.

Yeah, kinda agree with you about it but it's still the best place to find great stuff...unless you know a better place?

Japandroids is kinda boring to me. If you like noise pop, try No Age and Japanther.

Just noticed the store at the official Mogwai site no longer has a lot of their albums in stock sad.gif

Gonna say this again but if anyone wants to do a bulk purchase and ship the lot here I'd be the first one to sign up. Anyone in the UK/US willing to help?

Since they're signed to an indie label, yes they're indie. I don't think they sell any TMV stuff at there, though. But they got some weird **** like yourcodenameis:milo.

most hard to get albums are imported and are expensive, this happens in australia too. a sigor ros album is about 20-30 bucks when certain albums from popular artists you can get as low as 10 if on sale.

there are good reasons behind this, most good songs go under smaller companies that have got lower econs of scale also they are produced in high cost countries. 60 bucks is expensive however do note that it is so all around the world, just that our currency is faggy
