Connections to the states went haywire this past week. Considering how I'm living in KL, this is really pathetic. With IDM, I'm downloading @ 1~5kbps. 10x under the average speed. No problem with games though, able to connect to USW servers with not much lag.

I had exactly your problem since last 2 months and I though it was their problem too. But the problem is actually caused by the main underground cables which is usually outside your house (sorry don't know what's it called). I got it fixed recently and the problem's gone.

But then, bad Screamyx timing, as soon as I regain internet stability, the speed's got so f***ed up that my downloads are barely moving. Oh well, thanks for your good work Screamyx.

Streamyx damn smart man , Ive apply upgrade since last month fr 512k to 1MB but now Im still on 512k . That nvm , they even dare to charge me for 1MB for the whole month , omg .

Ive did everything correctly , setting the router and stuff . Calling them and going to TM point only get the same answer , "sudah diupgrade dalam sistem kami" What Bullshiate.

Let me see, Downloading from MX510 VPN Sucks today, Feels like got capped, max up to 30kb/s-50kb floating even thou first 2 seconds 100+kb/s

Cannot play EVE due to overlagging (450+ ping) where i can only do mining for the WHOLE day

Wanted to L4D but keep get kicked deng.... due to too fukken high ping (over 200 most of the time)

And Worse of all, kena marah by customer cos accept 10 times Just a Small PDF document that is Just 100kb big though msn = FAIL

FAKAP!!!!

to be honest,

today i almost cried when i thought abt how every internet user is getting conned by the monopolization of internet in this country~

literally none of the ISPs in this country is reliable & honest (except for a very very small group, and even they dont have very large coverage).

on another related topic, i think it was a wrong move for the new budget to offer internet users the subsidy. i would have preferred if the gov used all that billions of RM to upgrade this country's internet speed policies (im not talking abt torrents) and force new competition so that lazy pencil pushers (e.g: TMNut) will finally get off their butts and actually offer better products with more reliable services.

so yeah... there's my rant~
