I feel a sudden crawl in my connection man.. Takes ages to load up a webpage.

Same here. Upload speed sucks. Even HTTP requests to most of the sites is never sent. Download speed is almost acceptable for me yet.

It started yesterday evening.

last night suddenly lost connection... dsl stable but can't get IP address..
call 100, after about 5 minutes waiting to being serve, told them my problem, they say got no problem with port, so just follow their basic boring troubleshoot, still can't solve... so they asked me to shutdown my pc and let the router off for few minutes... end of call.. still not solve my problem

so i'm just playing with my router setting... change encapsulation from LLC to VCMUX and problem solved... isn't streamyx pppoe supposed to use LLC?

... want check e-mail also cannot

anyone else experiance this?? I suddently experiencing frequent disconnection since the week before Raya - Its not too bad, atleast once/day...

I also have that frequent Screamyx disconnections, since 2nd October morning (according to my logs). The connection simply goes limp whenever I leave it alone, when downloading some large files that takes up long time. Wasted lots of download time and electricity..

i also dunno coz that settings only can hold for about 6 hours then after that cannot get IP again.. call 100 few times again and they say no problem with port etc, same reply, same troubleshoot.. even change modem also can't help (coz they ask me to try use another modem)

but when the technician came to my home to check, he said port probably hang.. so after he check and do something with the port, it works again.. but can't hold even for 1 hour (to bad the technician already leave......), DC, stable DSL but cannot get IP (same symptom as before, so i assume the port hang again).. so i give up and planning to report again when they call me probably tomorrow to close report..

but suddenly feel bored and i test again change LLC to VC MUX and guess what, now i can surf again.... but dunno how long it will give me problem again

stupid tmnut was down from 11:30pm to 12:45am today. if they are doing some kind of maintenance on their data centres, they should annouce it and not keep quiet like a bunch of wankers.

i fail to see how this monkey telco can win some award when it act so unprofessional like this.

Downloading at 8kbps from HotFile. Fastest this week, used to be 4kbps.

Which used to be over a 100kbps couple of weeks back.

same thing here, from klang. hotfile la, rapidshare la....all become turtle d. max can achieve is 10 KB/s

since this afternoon my max download speed is around 40KB/s, tried to call 100 and they said it becoz of computer virus yada yada...seems like excuses to me

So I called the helpdesk and asking them about my constant DSL blinking problem (DSL light blinking every few minutes). They told me that they are going to "reset port".

What exactly do they mean by that and is it one way of solving the blinking DSL issue?

i think they just try what they can do from his/her seat... sometimes reset port doesn't work.. they always say got no problem on their side even after they reset the port remotely.. but after the TM staff come to do checkup, still, the port is the problem..

as for my case, so far, 4 times every 2 weeks, need to call them.. when TM staff come again to do checkup, port got problem, need to reset directly from the port even whenhelpdesk says nothing wrong with the port... but your case, DSL blinking... mine, DSL stable, but can't connect...

DSL blinking might be because of splitter or old telephone line... but maybe also because their port fakap... so, you do your part, try change splitter, borrow friends modem etc.. if you can't solve, call them so they do their job..

Connection for these few days has been rather slow than usual.... although it is still tolerable to a certain extent......
