Maybe you just get throttled, oh well.
*

The other bittorrent clients (bitcomet etc) were throttled since a few years ago. But my deluge always worked like a charm... until 3 days ago.

Damn I hope this is just temporary.

QUOTE(Erza Scarlet @ Jul 4 2009, 05:51 AM)
I used to dl with 110k before, now can only get 30k max sleep.gif
*

You can still get 30k. I'm nowhere near 30k; 5k only. At this rate, I am never going to finish downloading and catching up with what I've been missing. What are they doing?

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Jul 4 2009, 08:28 AM)
But why? I was dowloading at >100KB from international peers 3 days ago, and then now I can barely reach 5KB using my deluge or utorrent. Did TMnet enforce a new kind of throttling?
*

I am wondering the same as well. It all started when the illegal e-casino appeared in the news. There goes our downloading speed.

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Jul 4 2009, 02:34 PM)
I can only download from local peers now, and even then it's not very fast. Did tmnet somehow manage to throttle deluge and utorrent? How did they do that as I was under the impression both cannot be throttled.

Or do you think maybe tmnet is targeting only me, as I'm a heavy downloader. I estimate I use 60 to 80GB of bandwidth per month.
*

I'm not sure whether TmNet is targeting heavy downloaders, but yeah, I'm a heavy downloader. I hope they are not targeting heavy downloaders.

QUOTE(miahahaha @ Jul 4 2009, 02:46 PM)
Not just you...everyone else is experiencing the same problem now...my BT usually download around 60-100kbps but now can hardly past 50kbps..

*maybe TM setup a new throttle device or give us limited connection to euro peers...haiz~~
*

Consider yourself lucky to be able to reach at least 50k.. I'm nowhere near that. I'm getting annoyed with the crawl.

QUOTE(eXPeri3nc3 @ Jul 4 2009, 03:15 PM)
Anyone of you tried calling them to reset your port? lol.
*

If only it's that easy, I'm sure many of us would have done so before we post.

It's been extremely lagging again these few days.
Guys, just want to ask, will keeping on complaining to them improve my connection? I'm using 1024/512 but the speed is <30kb/s or worse still, it takes long time to load.

For the time being, download speed is a crawl. Other than that, it's fine.

Of course the cable problem already been solved... the problem now is TM don't have enough bandwidth to support all its customers.. and all their stuffs (including servers & cables) are all ancient history... don't know when will we be able to get a nice & stable speed from TM...
