QUOTE(Dannyoski @ Jul 28 2009, 09:31 AM)
i was there at ~6.30pm. Stay for less than 10 mins then cabut d.

Onkyo, Denon, Marant etc etc.... all over my budget. Need to sell some stock if really want to buy it now. Depend on how poison down the road ...  sweat.gif

Home theater ... good to hear , pain to pay. lol

Ronnt,

When can i test the pizza at your place??
All,

Need some advice, i was thinking to get an entry level av receiver with HDMI like Onkyo 606, 505, 507 or Denon 1909. Then temporary get a 5.1 channel statelite speaker 1st and slowly upgrade the speaker. I come across Yamaha 5.1 channel statelite speaker at 75sen. Can go or not to use with the av receiver on PS3. Or any other cheap or used satelite or tallboy speaker recommended?

Thanks
Danny

I had sold out my Yamaha RX-V1400 THX 7.1ch av amp thus it is very heavy and solid.SQ better than others low end Yamaha HDMI av amp in terms 2 use optical/coaxial for HT.If u ask me early, then i can give u better pricing compare to hifi shop.

Ok,back to HDMI AV Amp comparision with SQ.Onkyo gives u more punchy while Denon gives u warm SQ.All depends with your taste.U can still use yr existing speaker to hook up new hdmi av amp thus there are alots of use branded speaker to let go @ afforable prices. Now adays mostly new speaker are made in China hardly to get UK/US.But there are few hifi shop still able to get.Try out @ HiFi Choice,Midlands Park.I had bought Audio Alchemy DAC which Made IN US which cost me RMXXX nia as newly was around RM 1k plus.
Another few hifi shop you may try to audition at SP and Alor Setar as they still have good branded speaker which made in UK/US.
Hope this will help you.
Cheers.

Yeap,

Ask your Yamaha buyer sell to me as 3rd hand la ... thumbup.gif

"Audio Alchemy DAC which Made IN US which cost me RMXXX nia" good deal if put some affort to hang out hifi shop. i will follow your advice ... sweat.gif later i go 1stop and check it out. rclxm9.gif

Ronnt,

Initially my budget only rm2 for both av receiver and speaker either new or used. Thats only if i can get Yeap's Yamaha av receiver ealier and found an used Audio Alchemy DAC which Made IN US for only RMXXX like yeap. But not likely to be happen now if i want it urgently ... Will try out my luck at some Hifi shop. blush.gif

danny.. better look for AVR that can handle the current Tru HD & DTS HD-MA stuff via HDMI.. Denon 1909 sounds to be good but almost RM2 on this AVR itself d.

Yup,

Thats one of the option i was thinking about.

Go for Onkyo or Denon av receiver at rm2 and reused my old speaker.

Really thanks to Yeap, Ronnt and others for the advice.
Especially SOB who poison me with the pizza at the 1st place mad.gif hahahah

Our account full 5 people d le... Need open another.

BTW fat princess gameplay here.

I try describe it for you.
The gameplay its like capture the flag but in this game it called capture the princess i think. XD.

there are 5 classes, swordsman, wizard, archer, worker, and priest. 1 game can have max of 32 players can play offline and online.

So basically you must go to the other castle to kidnap the princess but here is the catch. The defending team can feed thier princess with cake till they get fat. When the princess is fat it takes more enemy to kidnap the princess. But the defending team must keep feeding her if not she will lose weight fast. So need a bit of teamwork and co-op. The voice chat in this game is good.

Engineers can build catapults and ladders to help but need to chop trees to make wood.
