Fake Steam Website

It changed to the typical Valve Steam community page when I clicked on it from the PM. Now it doesn't for some reason.

I've been flooding it with fake usernames and passwords though. Only one got accepted for some reason (alphadog, 666)

I've already given Steam Support a picture of my Orange Box CD-Key with my account name written on it in black pen.

assuming it all goes well you should have your account back within 3-5 days.

exactly the same thing that happened to me, the ******* hijacked my account, logged in, changed the email and password, then didnt do anything at all. i wonder if steam picks up on your playtime even if you're not on Steam Friends.

Just so you guys know, many of these account thieves, which I believe mostly obtain your accounts through either phising or a password stealer program and not actual hacking, do not aim to play the games themselves. Your account will be listed to be sold in the Internet "black" market for a few bucks.

While waiting to be sold, they may use your account to try to phish others, or they may just leave it there and log in periodically to check on the status. If your account starts to have gaming activities, it's most probably been sold.
