if i get d60 i can get that lens..cari makan lens some say..

sold my kit lens..and got 55-200vr on the 1st day.

almost a week ago sold my 55-200 VR and bought 17-50 tammy and flash.

tomorrow maybe sanyo eneloop batteries + charger

next maybe a waist bag.

If i get d90 can't spend much on other things..

got money to spend on d90 + lenses but i think d60 is enough for making money already.. i like doing HDR photos.. got people calling me askin me to teach them HDR..hehe.. like it's so hard..

hehe, Dppreview has a good review on the Tamron saying it at least as good as Nikkor 18-200mm

I was quoted a D60 at Sg wang for bout RM1800. Do you think it's a rip off?

i think is a good price...depend on the package of course...should be standard 4g memory card and a normal bag...

Ask the mods... if they agree, just incorporate the information into this thread and close that thread. Too many new threads. If there's a new thread for each and every camera that's released pretty soon all the threads are gonna so watered down.

i think all nikon thread should be gathered up..juz like Sony and Canon.

D5000 should be here as it's another non-motorized body, and i think should be replacing all low-end nikon dslrs

I agree with that. It was discussed last time. Got pros and cons.

But some users from the higher end body thread opposes the suggestion.

I think they're worried that some high school kid with third hand D40 and cruddy kit lens may post mind blowing pictures that will spank their D3's silly . By having seperate thread, they can at least pretend they didn't see the pics.

one of the reason too..

btw, i guess just leave all those high end slr threads and keep d60/d40/d40x/d5000 thread separate.

I know canon and sony have all in one threads but i need to remind you guys that d60/d40/d40x/d5000 has NO INTERNAL AF MOTOR and thus require a thread of it's own.

what sure ar rm1800? that's sound like it's kind of too good to be true..
-must have 4gb nikon SDHC
-bag (newer stock got leather nikon professional bag)
-18-55 lens (older stock got VR and newer stock dont have VR)
-make sure nikon MALAYSIA warranty
