The Godfather!

I remember thinking "ehh... this is good but not that good" back when I first saw it. How things have changed. I would like to experience it for the first time now.

the Apartment
It Happened One Night
Bringing Up Baby
Roman Holiday

I'm a sucker for romance [hence my gender tag] but those movies were just beautiful. They don't make romance like that anymore. Now it's f***, quarrel, make up. sad.gif

As for why I wish I didn't watch them, now I DEMAND my relationship to be just like Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine or like Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert.

NOBODY KNOWS - about a neglectful single parent that left 5 of her kid living by themselves in the apartment in Tokyo...The pacing was great and it was tastefully done....the ending was the best and leave my heart shattered in the final scene (cry my heart out)...GREAT angle and cut scenes (credit due to the DP)...and the song....instrumental at it best....make it your wish list.

GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES (ANIME) - About two brother and sister that survives atomic bomb in Japan. Recently I've seen the muvi merchandise in KL and I get touchy all of sudden (Sakuma drops, the hard candy eaten by the children in the movie).
Animation historian Ernest Rister compares the film to Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List and says, "it is the most profoundly human animated film I've ever seen."wiki qoute

DARK WATER - A ghost story that involved one single mother with her daugther that recently move into an apartment. The final scene was incredible and was heavily scripted with just enough to say. It is not a tear jerker but the scenes leaves long lasting memory in my head.

The Japs always get me with their mushy muvi....but these three are the best among others i've seen....wat can i say...i'm a sucker for JAP muvi ..XD

Thats one was also good...but the 'tear factor' Big Fish makes me weep everything like a small kid.
Frankly, I watched it a dozen times and each time tears roll down....I finally deleted it.....that was one movie that was way too beautiful that i wished I didn't watched.

i don't get it very much....i'm a sucker for a tear muvi ...but BIG FISH doesn't quite much hit the spot...for me it just observe the nature of story telling....

As for me , The Prestige . This kind of movie you can't get the same satisfaction watching the second time because all the mysteries have been uncovered .

Drama series; 'The man in the vineyard' [Korean]
Currently aired on KBS World.
Good story about life, life in the countryside.

Love the character of Ji Hyun (Yoon Eun Hye).
Her facial expressions are so enjoy to watch.
Along with Jang Taekgi (Oh Man Suk)

Both won awards for their performance respectively.

Yes.
She took a break two(2) years ago.
Formed her own company, 'My Fair Lady' is her 1st production.

However I prefer her character in 'The man in the vineyard'...simple girl and cute.
