lol....arcade is arcade, simulation is simulation, how can there be the mix of both? :sweeat:

make it simple...it's fun like NFS series...but still requires good driving skills to control ur car
i mean in NFS series u won't easily spin out of control rite

for me grid is arcade, but hard to control for beginner, need some time to get used to it. if i were u, i will get both.

for fun(when u master the car control), get grid.
for a bit of realistic, get gt5. although there is no damage, it still fun.

i've tried gt3 before, still one of the best racing game ive ever played. the fun of grid and gt cant be compare la, there is at a level of its own.

grid u just need to master the car control as wat kazairol said...auto or manual no diffrence at all as i will get the same laptime... even u turn off all assist, sometimes i think im playing prostreet

play superbike 08 then u'll know. kaz explaination is good enuff.

Control is still arcaedish, and it has insane grip. But it also has damage, something that arcade don't have

No,but both of their damage doesnt have as significant effect as GRiD's one.

Burnout's one is just lulz la.

Ya, playing burnout is just for the fun of CRASHING UR CAR and CRASHING OTHER PPL'S CAR.

Downright kick@$$ fun though.. hehehe

Btw, gran turismo: u can't crash, flip, barrel roll or anything spectacular when u crash.

Prostreet: dead boring.

whenu talk abt arcade games, don't it mean usually race against time, reach a checkpoint get extra time, like that? I dunno, i rarely play arcade racing game.

NFS,Burnout, and Flatout are arcade racing games.

GRiD,DiRT are semi sim.

rFactor are full blown proper sim.

I beg to differ. Just that people don't really liek having to drive with a consistent rythm. Which is why you see ppl like forza and chapree can get fast time in GRiD because they drive just about any racing game and know instantly what driving style to use.
