guys
do you think if i get a gorillapod the small little 3 leg bulat bulat tripod thingie
worth getting Rm150?? fitting on zoom lens and D90 to snap fireworks??

or get a normal average tripod...coz the last festival i went super crowded cant even deploy my normal tripod at all...or just hand held with 50mm f/1.4
or any cheaper tripods can take the weight of 70-200VR

got 1 i saw Manfrotto 728B Digi Black Tripod with 390RC2 Three Way Head , 470bucks  cry.gif

I'd say, get a proper tripod like the manfrotto.

You'd get it sooner or later.

When you shoot fireworks, it's better to shoot with a good sturdy tripod, no doubt.

The gorrilapod is useful where you can find a suitable place to wraparound the legs. The gorrilapod is not a replacement, but just an alternative to certain situations.

gorillapod is nice when walking around..not big and stuborn like tripod. But if seriously taking fireworks...tripod is a must.

My SB900 also like that. A little bit shaky (but not so shaky, just a little little bit only) left and right. But I think it is ok because it will make me easier to take off the speedlight from the body.

In USA it's generally more expensive despite the fluctuating exchange rate.

It's definitely not a bad price. Depending on shop and bargaining skills, users have reported body only to cost from RM3-3.1K.
