p/s: never be too extra careful, holding too tight on your HD sometime it will slip out from your palm.
just treat your HD like normal H/P.

guys,can u help me out? i read through all off 45 pages and found out that u can improve the radio reception by upgrading the radio rite? mind to give some links and reviews about each radios? i need some extra reception cz maxis line in my area r so sucky..had to put the phone near to windows just to get 2 bars..im not looking for super radio boost,just some boost so that i can sms and receive call in my room.n oso,can u guys recommend me a good rom? one which is stable n responsive...sorry for all the mess,i've gone through xda forum for a while now but still,im lost!

just trying to be extra careful b4 flashing my baby to cooked ROM..BTW,i think mine is on radio 1.09.25.14 and ROM 1.18.707.3..i know its an old ROM and Radio cz the last owner of this phone is a guy who i believe uses his phone just to sms and receive calls nly..i nid to flash this phone pronto cz cant stand looking at sceenshots that u ppl post here

My HD fails me like...alot .


Everytime I go out for sports or anything , I get an important phone call , and when I turn on my phone , I just cant slide to answer , it doest respond , it just hangs there ...

Where is the best place to get HD now? How can i extend my warranty?
When i purchase, what should i concern?
Today i asked 1 shop which near my working place, they got 2 distributors..1 is SiS and another 1 is "PDA gadgets"(don't know is it this 1,can't remember)..
SiS = RM2399
xxx gadgets = RM21xx

Anyone can help me on this?

Does it only happens when you having sport? What is it that the phone is doing when you're doing your sport? playing music? GPS tracking?
Unfortunately, there is no new official ROM available for SEA version (ROM version: 1.18.707.3) since the day it launched.

AFAIK, there is only one official distributor in Malaysia for HTC products, and it's SiS.

what about roms? what roms r u running now Superman7? stock roms lags n unresponsive for me..flashing cooked roms can solve my prob rite? i nid suggestion so i know where to start first~

One things for sure is that its in landscape mode when I turn on the phone and I cant seem to get it back to potrait mode to answer the call , it'll just hang in landscape .


I dont know how to flash a cooked ROM too

there is too many custom rom on xda. you may have to try and flash to see which suit you most and there is no such thing like who's rom is more stable or best. we all flash our HD more than 20times just to get suitable rom running on our HD.

1st thing to do is BACKUP! and if you are hunger for speed i suggest you stay away WM6.5 which might disappoint you.

there is few rom to be consider

1. Energy's ROM
2. Miri's ROM - 6.1 with Manila 2.5

nway,how to backup? when i flash to cooked rom my stock ROM will be deleted rite? how to revert back to stock if anything bad happens?
how bout dutty? through all 45 pages,i thinks i saw dutty being mention for quite a number of times..plz enlighten me as im a noob in ROM flashing

I never tried the abv ROM's, anyone tried Topix 3.12, been using it since it was out, definitely faster than stock 1.59...any comments/recommendations for those that have tried most of the ROMs

u're running topix 3.1.2 on yr touch hd rite now? how the performance? im thinking bout flashing it to my HD as soon as i finished dloading the files..how about some short review bout it?

Yup, running it on my HD now, like I mentioned, its definitely faster than stock ROM 1.59 (not blazing fast, just abit faster), and a little smoother too, its also very stable for me, I have no probs running most applications, only apps I find not able to run is the star wars light sabre which has no sound and a few other apps which I think we dont really need but fun to have
