erm...i'm not quite sure about Sunway..but i think i'll go for taylors( well, actually i've enrolled for the june intake tongue.gif)...as for the environment i really love it...there's like trees everywhere...a very cooling place... very convinient(there are many restaurants and etc(check out this thread to know more about taylors: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...8378&hl=taylors ...and the fees are roughly 23k for three subjects and 28K for 4 subjects...
as for the lecturers i'm not quite sure...but many ppl told me that taylor's are pretty good... when i went for the enrollment with my bro ,my bro actually asked the counsellor this question: what makes taylor's outstanding and different from other colleges?
PM me to know the answer tongue.gif

For me, environment for Inti SJ and Taylor's are pretty bad lo. Sunway still not bad, at least Sunway as a Bandar itself is quite green.

But Taylor's has a good reputation for A-Level, so does the others. The only thing is Taylor's charge more.

If you ask me where to do A-Level, I would say Inti Nilai (I know that their lecturers are good.).
And if you are bright student and wish to spend less, then go TARC.

If you ask me about opinions on Taylor's, I will say no need go there.
You can get similar things at cheaper price at elsewhere.
And, I dislike they fix up the classes and timetable which make it no difference from secondary school.
Although timetable like today 8-10am one class, then 4-5pm one class looks ugly, but that's what we call college. But Taylor's A-Level is not like that!

Time to bed. Will share more tomorrow.

I've got friends doing Taylor's A-levels. The timetable is pretty sucky. You practically have the same subjects everyday and you finish approx the same time (ie, 4PM).

Their LAN is not LAN. I heard that they did moral studies and it was SO different because they were actually just doing the subject to pass and get it over with. Whereas for me, I had to really study and analyze the subject and treat the subject seriously, where I actually learn something from all that hours staying back for it. So it's very unfair. Anyway, unless you don't treasure the thought of gaining knowledge, you'd think I'm talking crap, so just ignore.

I'm studying in IntiSJ and I've friends doing A Levels here. The fees is definitely cheaper than Taylors, classes are small, and the lecturers are experienced teachers.
Due to the small class, the lecturers really get to know you, its a rather friendly environment.
Environment - A lot of makan places, and other entertainment spots ahem cyber cafes are all over...
Taylor's A levels are massive I heard, they've a ton of students and in some classes you end up in a lecture hall with hundreds of other students, I think you'd lack personal attention, particularly if you're the kind who keeps quiet.

Random fact - Daniel Bego our national swimmer is doing his A Levels here ^^

If I'm not mistaken, Taylor's A-level fees are the highest among private colleges.

I think the difference between London and Cambridge is not very significant. After all, they are treated equally by the UKs.

Regarding the re-sit, it can be good and it can be bad. Having resits doesn't mean the quality is mixed. After all, the students attain that mark with his/her hardwork isn't it?
And, if you did badly, this resit comes in handy.

For me, I wouldn't care too much about London or Cambridge lo..

I am a taylor's student and i am pretty disagree with u that the place is a cooling area. It's the hottest place i have ever been!
However,i'll agree with u that there are many restaurants around. We can get almost every kind of food(from Korean food to Indonesian food)

Perhaps he mean the air-con system.

If you want cool, then I would say Nottingham is really a cool place. It's a university in an estate, around them all palm trees and green thing.
But then, NO restaurant except the SA la..

Well, you think like this hah.

Now the person's 1st attempt is 80, then 2nd attempt he got 100.
So, now you want to average it out say he got 90?

But hoh, he already proves himself to be able to get 100 liao wor, why you want to give him 90?

You retake the exam, means that you want to improve from last exam. To improve, you surely study again. That improves your knowledge, and your improvement and achievement is graded by the re-sit. Not a bad thing right?

Of course, you may want to say, now this person 1st attempt 90, second attempt 80. He deproves already!
But hey, he got 90 before right? Why want to lower his 90 to 85?
Does his 80 show that he already not 90? No right?
Make no sense right?

LOL, just my 2 cents. smile.gif
