!!!!!!!!!!!!!!stop automatic updates - from windows update

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!if using manual windows update, please read carefully details for that update AND don't download/install update to fix/something related to windows activation

Yes, you will need to wait around 10-15 seconds at startup before you can login to your Vista PC. Then desktop will be black and there's popup nagging you to register. However if you activate with valid license info, it will revert to full functionality mode again... thumbup.gif

I guess this applies only if your OS is pirated, in this case Vista.

I think they have not enforce it for Office yet.

I can't comment anything about Office since I never encountered such problem before. But it should have some sort of activation method for Office too since OGA and WGA share the same principal...

If you're a true Vista user, you'll get the genuine copy and stop worrying. Perhaps you're one of them 'XP-users' "trying" out Vista but too afraid to commit to the real deal...

Microsoft will track your IP and send a warning FBI letter. Imagine the horror... the price to pay is unimaginable. You'll wish you had another day... another day to rush to a computer store and get a genuine copy... Second letter means... you will be transported to the US for direct self-validation. Can't explain further.

OK, maybe.
