Need help, recently im just bought a web hosting service through Yahoo Small Business plan.

I noticed that this few days streamyx ISP cannot access my website. - last week I still can access without any problem.

Recently i had bought at web hosting service for my own used website www.rajauda.com. I had developed and published the website last month. But this few days i faced the problem to access it with TM streamyx.

I have tried using ISP other that streamyx such as Maxis broadband and my office line (Penang Phone line), its no problem.
I have tried to ask a few of my friends which is from other countrys they also having no problem to access it.

Before I post this topic, I have ask few friends using streamyx from different location in KL, Kedah to access the site but still failed.

Anyone can help, what is my next steps? Thank for your advice.

As your opinion, may i know its the TM side problem or Yahoo DSN problem ahh?

When you have problem accessing the site, do a tracert to it and it might give more information on what the problem could be. Also would help if you provide more information like answers to some of the above questions from Killingprod. When you can't access your site, can you get to other sites?, like www.yahoo.com, www.google.com, etc?

(4) my internet line is working fine, coz i can access to website like google.com.my, yahoo.com, mail.yahoo.com, gmail.com....etc.

Let it run until it is done. Right click the window, select mark. Highlight all the text you want to copy, hit enter. Then paste results into here or save to a file until you have several results from different locations.

Ok, based on these results and some of the other results from other posters here, the problem looks like an internal TMnet issue. No one outside Tmnet reports problem accessing the site, DNS resolves it correct. Your first tracert is dropping after a router at 58.27.103.190. This is owned by TMNet. The second one going through penangfon is going through Jaring.

So since Tmnet should be working for most sites, but not this one, they may be having some internal BGP route problems or have a bad route someone in their internal network. This could probably be seen better with some more tracert output from different locations.

Knowing how the customer service is from my previous experiences with them, you are just going to have to hope they know the problem exists and are working on it. Otherwise you can try your luck with some steamyx L1 support rep that won't know much more than checking basic settings. Since your line isn't completely broken, they probably won't escalate the issue beyond that unless you have an expensive corp connection and its causing lost business.

Added on November 10, 2008, 3:35 pmForgot to mention, if you just want to access your site to work on it, and are not worried about other people in TMnet's network getting to it, use the proxy server you mentioned above and connect through there. That should get around your problem for now, as long as TMNet can get to the proxy server.

I had send the tracert result to TM high level support, not yet get reply from TM.

But this morning im try ping my website www.rajauda.com and its work now with ISP TM.

A bit slow to load, but anyway at least got the improve there. Mayb TM side is help me to solving now!

Glad to hear that you got a reply from TM net. That was pretty fast and good resolution as well. I had tried the traceroute yesterday evening with no luck but today its looking good. Hopefully it stays that way .
